Privacy Policy — Remindfulness

This policy covers the Remindfulness apps, Remindfulness (Classic), Remindfulness Recovery, and Remindfulness Twin Flame ("the Apps"), created by Naomi Janzen at Freedom Techniques, and this website, remindfulnessapp.com.

Your reminders stay yours

The reminders you create in the Apps are stored on your device only. They are not uploaded, collected, or shared with us or anyone else. The Import and Back up features move your reminders only where you choose to send them, for example an email you send to yourself.

Sharing features

When you share a reminder or an app link via email or text message, the sharing happens through your device's own mail or messaging apps. The Apps do not store the addresses or numbers you share with, and none of this information is transmitted to us.

Advertising

The free versions of the Apps display advertising served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service. To serve and measure ads, Google's software inside the Apps may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier) and ad interaction data. On Apple devices, the Apps ask your permission before using the identifier for personalized ads, via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, ads still appear but are not personalized using that identifier. Each App offers a one-time Remove Ads purchase, handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

Support and newsletter

If you contact support, we keep your email address so we can reply to you and follow up on your query. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored with our email service provider and used only to send you the newsletter; every issue includes an unsubscribe link.

This website

This site is a set of static pages. It does not set tracking cookies of its own. Embedded third-party content, such as a newsletter signup form, is governed by that provider's own privacy practices.

Children

The Apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
